VACANCY

Louis Hotels, a chain of 25 hotels & resorts with over 80 years of experience in the hospitality industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team in Paphos Breeze as the Pastry cook and contribute towards our commitment to excellence in hospitality.

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread in accordance with the Akakiko standards.
Execute the production and presentation of high-quality pastry items Upholding strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices to ensure food safety and a clean work environment.
Contributing to waste reduction efforts.
Collaborate closely with the chef to understand the menu requirements and ensure timely preparations.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers for ingredient orders.

Job Requirements:

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a pastry cook, preferably in a hotel or a restaurant.

· A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.

· Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry equipment, and ingredients.

· Strong attention to detail and precision in pastry preparation and presentation.

· commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

· Knowledge of HACCP system and sanitation procedures.

· Very good command of Greek or English language.

· Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

· Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items.

· EU Nationality or eligibility to work within the EU.
