Payroll Specialist

We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our growing Taxation Services department. Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of local and international clients.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, leave, statutory deductions and other payroll-related payments.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related statutory returns and reports to the relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Process new hires, salary changes, terminations and other payroll updates.
- Liaise with clients and government authorities on payroll and employment tax matters.
- Ensure compliance with Cyprus payroll, tax and employment legislation.
- Assist the Tax team with payroll-related tax compliance matters and other tax assignments, as required.
- Support payroll reconciliations, reporting and year-end payroll activities.
- Keep up to date with changes in payroll, tax and employment legislation and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous experience in payroll, preferably within a professional services or outsourcing environment.
- Knowledge of Cyprus payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
- Experience using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both written and spoken.
- Professionalism, attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
