Role Overview

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and enthusiastic individual to join the Cyprus Planetarium team. The successful candidate will help create a welcoming and educational experience for visitors while supporting the daily operation of the planetarium, exhibitions, events, and public activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist guests with information about planetarium shows, exhibitions, facilities, and activities.
• Assist with ticketing, reservations, visitor entry, and general front-desk duties.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional environment.
• Support school visits, families, tourists, and groups during educational activities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors and colleagues.
• Assist with basic technical or audiovisual equipment when required.
• Help promote upcoming shows, events, and activities to visitors.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Carry out other general duties required for the smooth daily operation of the planetarium.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should:

• Be friendly, approachable, polite, and professional.
• Have strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Enjoy working with children, families, tourists, and the general public.
• Be reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
• Have an interest in astronomy, science, education, technology.
• Be comfortable learning new systems and basic technical equipment.
• Be able to work during weekends, public holidays, or evenings when required.
• Have good knowledge of English and Greek; Russian language would be an advantage.
• Previous experience in customer service, tourism, education, entertainment, museums, attractions, or hospitality would be considered an advantage.
