Preventive Maintenance Engineer, Larnaca - PME/05/26

Our client is seeking to recruit a motivated and organised Preventive Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance operations of its industrial facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supervising maintenance teams, and ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of mechanical equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Assign, explain, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance tasks carried out by technicians and maintenance staff.
• Coordinate daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical equipment, including shutdowns and major maintenance periods.
• Monitor equipment performance and availability to minimise breakdowns and unplanned downtime.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and equipment performance.
• Enter, update, and maintain maintenance data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Collaborate with operational and technical teams to ensure efficient maintenance planning and execution.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, including gear reducers, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary range of €2,000 – €2,500 gross x 14
• Provident Fund 8%
• Overtime
• Transportation provided to and from the company
• Working hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:00
