Primary Post: Class Teacher for Early Years, KS1/2

Primary Teacher (Early Years / Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2)

Foley’s School is a prestigious private international school in Limassol, known for academic excellence, strong discipline, and a rich extracurricular programme.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, delivering high-quality education and supporting the academic and personal development of pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons appropriate to the relevant Key Stage
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor pupil progress and wellbeing, liaising with colleagues.
• Contribute to school life, including meetings, parent evenings, trips and extracurricular activities
• Support curriculum development and take ownership of a subject area or initiative
• Uphold school values, behaviour policies, and high standards of health and safety

 

Requirements

• Relevant degree with PGCE and/or QTS
• Minimum two years’ teaching experience within Early Years, KS1 or KS2 (British curriculum preferred)
• Commitment to high academic standards and child-centred learning
• Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills
• Full fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school life
• Alignment with the School’s mission and values

 

Desirable

• Experience in an international school setting
• Familiarity with the British curriculum
