Job Description
The Production Lead Operator ensures the smooth, safe, and high‑quality execution of the production plan during the shift. The role supports the team, ensures compliance with Quality, Food Safety, and Health & Safety standards, and coordinates issue resolution with maintenance to maintain efficient operations and contribute to continuous improvement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Ensure compliance with Quality & Food safety standards and Health & Safety regulations.
· Monitor and enforce quality control measures during production.
· Support the team to maintain quality and safety standards.
· Execute production plans aligned with company objectives.
· Delegate tasks when required as needed and conduct training sessions.
· Foster a positive work environment with open communication and teamwork.
· Identify, address, and resolve equipment issues promptly.
· Collaborate with the maintenance department for preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to support projects.
Other Responsibilities:
· Prepare shift reports on production output, quality, and safety metrics for management review.
· Assist in managing inventory levels.
· Identify opportunities and assist with the implementation of process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Technical Higher education (ATEI) or University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
· Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word).
· Good knowledge of English.
· Highly motivated and enthusiastic team player with an excellent customer service approach.
· Ability to work on their own initiative, demonstrating good planning and organizational skills.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
· Experience in an industrial environment, especially in the food or beverage industry, will be considered an advantage.
· SAP knowledge.
· Hands-on oriented approach.
