Production Manager
Job Description
The Position:
· Lead and oversee the daily operations of all ready-mix concrete production plants, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production
· Plan, coordinate, and optimize production activities to meet customer demand and quality standards
· Manage, lead, and develop production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
· Monitor production performance, operational efficiency, and manufacturing costs, implementing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste
· Collaborate closely with the Sales, Quality Control and Maintenance departments to ensure efficient order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
· Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and company policies across all production facilities
· Support capital investment projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements to maximize plant performance and reliability
· Develop, monitor, and report on key production KPIs, ensuring targets for productivity, safety, and cost efficiency are consistently achieved
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial or senior production role within the ready-mix concrete industry
Strong knowledge of concrete technology, aggregates and chemical admixtures
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
Fluency in Greek and English
