About the team:
We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Project Manager to join the Project Management team based in Nicosia, Cyprus. The team is responsible for ensuring the success of the projects undertaken by the company, both internally and commercially with our growing worldwide client base.
What you will be doing:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering complex, global technology initiatives from initiation through completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
- Lead global Projects of varying scale through all aspects of their end-to-end lifecycle working with clients, internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure effective elicitation of requirements and formulation of fit for purpose solutions along with relevant implementation strategies which are agreed with all parties.
- Define the project plan baseline and ensure appropriate monitoring and control during execution so the project is delivered within baseline scope, time, budget and quality dimensions.
- Build lasting relationships with internal and/or external client stakeholders, including senior sponsors, to ensure ongoing alignment and ultimate satisfaction with delivery outcomes.
- Use industry best practices and project management methodologies to implement effective governance and optimise performance.
- Deal with orchestrating cross functional teams, work scheduling and prioritisation, communications and reporting, issue, risk, stakeholder and change management etc. in order to successfully meet the program’s objectives.
What you bring:
- 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience in the IT industry, ideally within financial services or payment systems, including delivery of software implementation projects across the full SDLC.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Finance, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification (e.g., Prince2) preferred.
- Proven experience managing multiple client-facing projects in a virtual, multinational environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and lead cross-functional teams under pressure.
- Hands-on experience producing and maintaining project artefacts such as project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and dashboards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with flexibility to work across time zones and travel as required.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with working knowledge of MS Project.
Added bonus if you have:
- Payments industry or card processing experience.
- Experience delivering projects under contractual and commercial constraints.
- Exposure to large-scale transformation or multi-project environments.
- Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or SAFe delivery approaches.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
