Job Description

On behalf of our client, a leading company in the lighting industry, Manpower is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join the company.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing lighting projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered within agreed budgets, timelines, and quality standards. The role covers projects involving the design, supply, and installation of lighting solutions across residential, professional, and commercial spaces.

The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, coordinating all project activities while providing professional lighting consultancy and technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage lighting projects from initiation to completion, including new-build, renovation, and extension projects, ensuring alignment with agreed scope, objectives, budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets, and regularly monitor progress, costs, and deadlines to ensure successful project delivery.
• Understand client requirements and provide professional lighting consultancy, technical solutions, product recommendations, quotations, and proposals that meet project specifications and budget requirements.
• Prepare and present project quotations, technical proposals, lighting studies, and relevant project documentation, supporting clients throughout the decision-making and project process.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, maintaining clear and regular communication throughout the project.
• Coordinate closely with design, procurement, logistics, installation, and other relevant teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding product availability, materials, deliveries, installations, and any project-related requirements.
• Conduct site visits and quality checks to ensure installations and deliverables comply with project specifications, agreed standards, and client expectations.
• Identify and resolve project issues, risks, delays, and technical challenges in collaboration with the relevant internal teams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical files, quotations, contracts, financial information, project records, and CRM updates.
• Provide regular progress and financial reports to management and clients, highlighting key milestones, challenges, risks, and required actions.
• Manage the project handover and completion process, ensuring all agreed deliverables are completed and formally handed over to the client.
• Collect client feedback and identify lessons learned to support continuous improvement and future projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other strategic partners, while representing the department at relevant client and supplier events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in project management, preferably within the lighting, architectural, construction, interior design, or related industry.
• Experience with lighting design, lighting products, project quotations, technical proposals, and/or installations will be considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM and project management tools.
• Willingness to conduct site visits and travel when required.
• Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
