Purchasing Coordinator
Job Description
Main Responsibilities
· Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company requirements and procedures.
· Coordinate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipment status.
· Monitor stock and purchasing requirements and support the timely replenishment of goods.
· Follow up on local and international orders to ensure timely delivery.
· Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier files, and procurement documentation.
· Prepare purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance reports for management review and decision-making.
· Assist in the administration of import-related documentation and communication with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and suppliers.
· Coordinate with the warehouse, sales, and finance departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
· Assist in resolving delivery discrepancies, shortages, and supplier-related issues.
· Support the continuous improvement of procurement processes and reporting.
