CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a versatile and innovative technology company that has been enabling digital transformation solutions for financial institutions in more than 30 countries worldwide, we are seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will apply Quality Assurance standards to ensure product quality and reliability, as well as review and analyze business requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another relevant field, who possess previous experience in a similar role. Experience with the Katalon automation testing tool and Jira issue tracking software will be considered an advantage, and fluency in both verbal and written English is a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience, including a 13th Salary and Provident Fund.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Apply QA standards to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Review and analyse business requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Document test cases and create test plans.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Ensure consistent test coverage across key functional and regression areas.
• Report bugs and errors using Jira.
• Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify and report bugs.
• Other related responsibilities.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Willingness to learn of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Communication skills; ability to interact effectively with clients and project team members.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated interest in learning new technologies.
• Strong written English skills, combined with good verbal communication.

Nice to Have: 

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (preferably Katalon).
• Experience with issue tracking tools (preferably Jira).
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
