QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) OFFICER

Due to the expansion of its operations, Panchris Group wishes to recruit a suitable person for the position of: Quality Assurance (QA) Officer
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Quality Assurance Officer is the point of reference for quality and compliance matters at the Group's two production plants, producing premixes and animal feed.
The role combines three elements: management of the specialised feed formulation software and product labelling, quality control of raw materials and finished products, and maintenance of the Quality, Health and Safety records relating to production.
No previous experience in the sector is required. The Group provides full training on the specialised software and on the sector's regulatory framework, and the position is offered with a clear path towards greater responsibility in Quality Assurance and technical support to clients.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Issuing and checking product labels, and managing the data held in the feed formulation software.
· Confirming that raw materials and finished products comply with approved specifications and with the applicable legislation on animal feed and feed additives.
· Organising and carrying out the sampling and quality control programme for raw materials and finished products.
· Recording non-conformities, investigating their causes and following corrective actions through to closure.
· Maintaining the Quality System records, the equipment calibration records, and the Health and Safety records for the production premises.
· Supporting inspections by the Competent Authorities and by certification bodies.
· Working daily with the production team to resolve quality issues promptly.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
· A university degree in a quantitative subject.
· Very good command of Greek and English.
· Strong computer literacy, with confidence in working with Microsoft Excel and data.
· Accuracy, method and consistency in documentation.
· Experience in Quality Assurance in any sector, and/or experience in an industrial or laboratory environment, is ideal but not essential.
