Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Prepare cost estimates, budgets, quantity take-offs and tender documentation. 
•    Review and evaluate quotations, tenders and subcontractor proposals. 
•    Measure and value works carried out on site. 
•    Assess interim payments, variations and final accounts. 
•    Monitor project costs against approved budgets and provide relevant cost information to Management. 
•    Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. 
•    Assist with procurement and tendering procedures. 
•    Maintain accurate project cost and contractual records. 
•    Undertake any other duties relevant to the position as assigned by Management. 
Candidate Profile
•    University degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or another relevant field. 
•    Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience. 
•    Good knowledge of construction costing, measurement, tendering and contract administration. 
•    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. 
•    Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills. 
•    Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. 
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
•    Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. 
•    Membership of a professional body such as RICS will be considered an advantage.
