Retention Agent (Portuguese Speaker)
Job Description
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Retention Agent (Portuguese Speaker) to manage and grow relationships with our clients across LATAM. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for new and existing clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, timely issue resolution, and long-term engagement. You will play a key role in client retention, reactivation, and revenue growth by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries via phone, email and messaging platforms.
- Assist with account opening, KYC verification, deposits/withdrawals, and platform navigation.
- Provide guidance on trading tools, promotions, and company offerings in a professional, compliant manner.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Proactively engage with clients to understand needs and identify growth opportunities.
- Resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive client experience.
- Proactively follow up with clients to ensure a smooth trading experience and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay up to date on company products and market developments.
- Stay up to date with company policies, market news, and regulatory changes relevant to the Forex/CFDs industry.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Proven experience of at least 1 year as a Retention Agent in a CFD or Forex brokerage (mandatory).
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (verbal and written).
- Ability to work full-time from our office in Limassol.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle clients from different backgrounds and regions within LATAM.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and other business tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable to diverse client needs.
- EU citizen with yellow slip or valid work permit.
