Job Description

Radisson Blu Hotel, a prestigious 5-star hotel located in Larnaca, is seeking an accountant. If you are passionate about hospitality and possess the necessary skills to excel in this role, we invite you to join our team.

 

Key responsibilities:

·          Transaction monitoring and recording: Accurately monitor and record all revenue transactions,                      including reviewing contracts and billing details.

·          Credit Control: Ensure payments from accounts receivable are taking place according to the agreed            credit terms.

·          Account reconciliation: Reconcile revenue, cash, visa and bank accounts and accounts receivable to            ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.

·          Deposit to the bank: Prepare and follow up on bank deposits.

·          Monthly Reporting: Prepare of the monthly turnover reports.

·          Compliance: Ensure all revenue accounting is in compliance with generally accepted accounting                  principles (GAAP) and company policies

·          Audit support: Assisting in Audit process.

  

Preferred Qualifications:

 · Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or

· LCCI Accounting Higher holder

· Experience in similar position 2+ years.

· Fluent in Greek and English

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

· Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical financial practises is essential
