Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, rotating morning and afternoon shifts (e.g. 10:00–18:00 or 12:30–20:30)
Salary: EUR 1,500 gross per month
About the role
We are looking for a Sales Assistant who loves wine and enjoys talking to people. You will help customers find the right bottle, keep our Limassol boutique welcoming and well presented, and take part in tastings and events. You will report to the Boutique Manager.
What you will do
Welcome customers and help them choose wines, spirits and gourmet products.
Recommend products to match each customer’s taste, occasion and budget.
Run the till: sales, cash handling and end-of-shift closing.
Receive deliveries, restock shelves and take part in stock counts.
Keep the boutique clean and beautifully presented.
Pack bulk orders and take part in tastings and boutique events.
What we are looking for
Good knowledge of wines (regions, grape varieties, styles, food pairing).
Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
A friendly, confident and engaging manner; team player.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email).
Legal right to work in Cyprus (EU citizen or valid work permit).
Aged 18 or over; able to lift cartons of bottles and be on your feet during the shift.
Advantages
Experience in retail, hospitality or a related field.
Wine certification (e.g. WSET) or knowledge of spirits and gourmet products.
Knowledge of Russian and/or Greek.
