Position Overview
Consilium Marine Enterprises Ltd is seeking to employ a Sales Representative to join our Sales & New Buildings team in Cyprus. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting Consilium’s portfolio of marine safety and navigation systems to shipowners, shipyards, and key industry stakeholders in the Cypriot markets.
Reporting to the Sales & Newbuilding Supervisor, you will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and support the execution of Consilium’s sales strategy in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Consilium’s fire detection, gas detection, and navigation systems to existing and prospective customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities; prepare, present, and follow up on commercial offers.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (e.g., Service Department) to ensure accurate proposals and timely deliveries.
- Attend client meetings and support with related administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports and forecasts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide valuable insights for business development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or a commercial role within the maritime industry (preferably in marine equipment or shipbuilding).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is an asset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an international team in a fast-paced environment.
