We are excited to announce that we are now recruiting a SAP Software Developer to join our dynamic team.

SAP Software Developer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and training on business software for streamlined process automation. Your role is to seamlessly integrate solutions into client operations, using your integration skills, business know-how and technology expertise to ensure their desired outcomes.

• Custom Development:
  • Develop custom solutions, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and Fiori applications.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and develop efficient backend processes to support custom development.
  • Ensure all developments follow best practices, including performance optimization and scalability considerations.
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP):
  • Apply object-oriented programming principles to create robust, scalable, and maintainable applications, whether in ABAP or SAPUI5.
• Enhancements and Modifications:
  • Utilize ABAP tools such as BADI, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework to modify standard SAP functionality.
  • Implement and customize enhancements for both backend processes and frontend Fiori applications, ensuring seamless integration without affecting core SAP code.
• Integration and Interfaces:
  • Develop and manage data integration solutions using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and OData services.
  • Work with middleware SAP CPI for integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring smooth data flow to Fiori applications.
  • Expose backend data using OData services for consumption in Fiori apps, optimizing for performance and scalability.
• Performance Tuning:
  • Perform code reviews and optimizations to ensure efficient execution of both ABAP programs and Fiori applications.
  • Analyze and optimize performance issues, especially with large datasets or complex frontend components, to enhance user experience and backend processing.
• Technical Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation for all developed solutions, including custom ABAP programs and Fiori applications, to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
  • Document integration processes and performance tuning measures.
• Security and Authentication:
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and other security measures for both ABAP programs and Fiori applications.
  • Configure authentication mechanisms such as SAML to secure access across both backend and frontend environments.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to both ABAP developments and Fiori applications.
  • Analyze logs, error messages, and integration points to resolve issues effectively, ensuring smooth operation across the system.
• Continuous Learning and Enhancement:
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in both ABAP and SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 technologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, focusing on enhancing application performance, user experience, and integration capabilities.

Position Requirements

• BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Any knowledge or experience on the following will be considered an advantage:
  • APIs and web services (OData, SOAP etc.)
  • XML, JSON, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Advanced written and spoken English; Greek is required
