Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with professional standards.
Participate actively in all stages of the audit process, including risk assessment, fieldwork, documentation and finalization.
Plan, coordinate and oversee audit engagements, ensuring work is completed efficiently and within agreed timelines.
Allocate responsibilities to junior and staff auditors, providing guidance, coaching and on-the-job training.
Review team members’ work for accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal methodologies and regulatory requirements.
Perform effective risk and internal control assessments and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare audit reports, schedules and other deliverables for clients and management.
Present audit findings and provide practical recommendations to improve compliance, controls and operational efficiency.
Maintain effective communication with managers and clients regarding engagement progress, key issues and deliverables.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with client personnel and internal teams across the organization.
Identify and communicate relevant industry trends, business developments and key performance drivers affecting clients.
Manage and resolve ad-hoc issues arising during audit engagements in a proactive and professional manner.
Coordinate and support periodical and statutory audits while ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
5 years of relevant experience in Audit and Assurance services.
ACCA or ACA qualification (completed or in progress).
Strong working knowledge of CaseWare International.
Very good understanding and practical application of IFRS.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
