This is a high-responsibility role for someone who can operate independently, take ownership of audit engagements, and contribute to building a more efficient and scalable audit function.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Ensure compliance with ISA and Cyprus regulatory requirements
Review work of junior staff and provide guidance where needed
Communicate directly with clients in a professional and efficient manner
Manage multiple engagements and meet reporting deadlines
Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to internal systems
Requirements
ACA / ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
Minimum 2–4 years of audit experience
Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA
Ability to manage audits independently
Strong organisational and analytical skills
Fluent in Greek and English
Previous experience in a Cyprus audit firm will be considered an advantage
