Senior Auditor

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Salary: €36,000 – €42,000 gross per annum

On behalf of our client, a well-established audit firm in Limassol, we are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join their professional team.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience, strong practical accounting and audit knowledge, and the ability to independently handle audit assignments and communicate directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform audit engagements from planning through to completion in accordance with ISAs.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Prepare and review tax computations and tax returns.
• Prepare and maintain complete and accurate audit files and working papers.
• Identify and resolve audit, accounting and taxation matters arising during assignments.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding audit requirements, outstanding information and accounting or tax matters.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately, professionally and within agreed deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of relevant audit and accounting experience, preferably within an audit or professional services firm.
• Sound and well-developed accounting knowledge is essential.
• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS, ISA, financial statements and tax laws.
• Ability to handle audit assignments independently from planning to completion.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field will be considered an advantage but is not essential.
• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification will be considered an advantage.

What Is Offered

• €36,000 – €42,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
