Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected company operating in the Construction & Real Estate sectors, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing teams based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and supervising a variety of construction related projects, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. You should hold an academic background in Civil Engineering, or another closely related field, and approximately 5+ years of previous experience as a Civil Engineer. Good knowledge of AutoCAD is essential, as well as fluency in both Greek & English. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:   

• Overseeing site operations and activities.
• Organizing and managing construction site logistics.
• Coordination, management and organisation of construction sites.
• Developing project bids and proposals.
• Managing procurement of necessary materials.
• Generating documentation for transactions.
• Addressing technical issues and challenges.
• Monitoring project finances and timelines.
• Any other relevant duties as required by the Company.

Key Skills/Experience:   

• Holder of a Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Very good knowledge of Greek and English.
• Member of ETEK.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Holder of a driver's licence.
