CareerFinders, on behalf of one of our longest standing clients, a boutique provider of Corporate & Fiduciary Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Client Accountant to join their growing team based in the heart of Nicosia. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, or similar, and holders of, or those working towards any professional accounting qualification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 3+ years of relevant experience gained working for a professional services firm, and be fluent in both verbal and written English, with knowledge of Greek considered an advantage. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a Provident Fund, and the potential for Hybrid working options after the successful completion of the probationary period.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Preparation of the accounting records for a small portfolio of companies.
• Processing of sales and purchase invoices and of bank transactions.
• Reconciliation of Debtors, Creditors and Bank Accounts.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Preparation of VIES returns.
• Preparation of reports as requested.

Key Skills/Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field will be considered an advantage.
• LCCI Higher or any other relevant accounting qualification/certification is desirable.
• Approximately 3+ years of experience with the provision of accounting and bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients.
• Basic knowledge of VAT and TAX.
• Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Dynamic, driven and self-motivated character.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent knowledge of English, with knowledge of Greek considered an advantage.
