About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the dot.Ticketing product delivery team. You will design, develop and support reliable, scalable applications and integrations used by customers across multiple countries. As Dot.Cy moves towards agentic coding and more AI-integrated development and delivery, you will also use AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to improve analysis, implementation, testing, documentation and delivery speed, while maintaining strong technical ownership, security and quality standards. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, collaboration across disciplines and active contribution to engineering standards and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable and high-performing applications using C# and the .NET platform.
• Build and maintain web applications, services, REST APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Contribute to the architecture and technical design of new product features, customer requirements and platform improvements.
• Develop clean, maintainable and testable code, following agreed coding standards and engineering practices.
• Perform unit and integration testing, investigate defects and support reliable releases into production environments.
• Review code and provide practical technical guidance to other developers where required.
• Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, QA engineers, project managers and other development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support version control, build and deployment processes, and contribute to reusable libraries and common components.
• Analyse performance, security and maintainability concerns and recommend appropriate improvements.
• Evaluate new technologies, including AI-assisted and agentic development capabilities, and propose solutions that improve delivery efficiency, product quality and customer outcomes.
• Use AI coding assistants and agentic workflows responsibly across the software delivery lifecycle, including solution analysis, code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation and troubleshooting, with appropriate human review and validation.
• Help define and improve practical AI-enabled engineering standards, reusable prompts, development workflows and quality controls for the dot.Ticketing team.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience using C# and .NET.
• Strong object-oriented design and development skills within the Microsoft technology stack.
• Practical experience designing and consuming web services and REST APIs.
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript or TypeScript, together with at least one modern client-side framework such as React or Angular.
• Experience using source control and structured development workflows, preferably with Git and Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling.
• Good understanding of software development practices including code reviews, automated testing, debugging, release management and production support.
• Proven ability to deliver complex functionality independently while working effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
• Ability to critically review, validate and improve AI-generated outputs, ensuring that delivered code remains secure, maintainable, testable and aligned with the product architecture.

Advantageous Experience

• Practical experience with AI coding assistants, agentic coding tools, LLM-based development workflows or the integration of AI capabilities into software products and delivery processes.
• Experience with ASP.NET and/or ASP.NET Core for web application and API development.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or Dataverse development, configuration or integration experience.
• Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, monitoring, deployment or application hosting.
• Dynamics 365 SDK, plug-ins, Web API, JavaScript customisations, solutions and related ALM practices.
• Azure Functions, App Services, API Management, Service Bus, Storage or SQL Database.
• Content management systems such as Orchard Core or Kentico.
• Desktop application development using WPF, WinForms or similar Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with high-volume transactional platforms, ticketing, reservations, payments, memberships or access control.
• Microsoft technical certifications.

Academic and Professional Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a good command of English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take ownership and follow work through to completion.
• Interest in continuous learning and in adopting AI-assisted and agentic development practices where they provide practical value.
• Occasional travel or work at a customer site may be required depending on project needs.
