Role in Brief
We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator – M365 to design, administer and support the company’s Windows, hybrid and Microsoft 365 infrastructure. The role will focus on maintaining, administrating and contributing mainly to the ongoing development of Microsoft 365 cloud services, and the infrastructure operations.
Insights to the Role
Windows System Administration
- Administer, monitor and troubleshoot Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper-V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager.
- Support hybrid and cloud infrastructure environments, ensuring availability, security and performance across business-critical services.
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve complex incidents escalated from the service team relating to Windows systems and Microsoft 365 services.
- Carry out general system administration activities and contribute to infrastructure improvements, upgrades and operational projects as required.
Microsoft 365 and Cloud Administration
- Extensive knowledge and experience in any of the below Microsoft cloud services (Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot and Microsoft Defender).
- Support security and compliance controls, including Data Loss Prevention, Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access policies, audit log review and reporting.
- Design, administer and support Azure virtual machines and Azure Storage solutions.
- Monitor system usage, storage utilisation and service health, and recommend improvements to enhance resilience, efficiency and user experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric will be considered an advantage.

Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience administering Microsoft 365 services in an enterprise environment.
- Experience working in a large-scale enterprise IT environment.
- Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting tools for administration, automation and reporting.
- Experience with Group Policy management and Windows infrastructure administration.
- Familiarity with backup software, recovery processes and infrastructure resilience strategies.
Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required for system upgrades, maintenance activities or urgent incidents.
- Ability to travel and attend company events when requested.
- Commitment to complying with Group policies, procedures, compliance manuals, information security requirements and cyber security policies.
