Site Engineer
Job Description
Zemco Construction Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the position of Site Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate daily site activities, liaising with the Client, Consultants, and Senior Management and be in line with approved schedules, drawings, and specifications.
· Supervise on-site operations and report any issues, defects, or discrepancies to the Project Engineer
· Prepare and maintain accurate site progress reports
· Plan and manage daily requirements for materials, labour, and equipment, including raising purchase requisitions
· Assist in implementing and maintaining Health & Safety procedures in accordance with company policies.
· Organise and plan site work effectively to ensure timely project delivery.
· Supervise site teams and monitor the performance of subcontractors.
Profile and Qualifications:
· Degree in Civil Engineering
· Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, planning tools, and Microsoft Office applications
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
