Spirits Brand Manager (Hybrid - 9222)
Job Description
CareerFinders, on behalf on our client, an established FMCG company offering a range of premium brands to clients across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Spirits Brand Manager to join their growing team based in Larnaca. Reporting to the Marketing Manager of Spirits, the successful applicant will primarily be responsible for the ongoing management and development of the spirits portfolio in the local market. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field. You will ideally possess approximately 2+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably within the FMCG and/or alcoholic beverages sectors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English are a must, and an established network and strong relationship-building capabilities within the spirits industry and key market channels will be considered an advantage. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, including a company vehicle.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Achieve agreed sales targets through strong coordination with the Sales Department.
- Support key accounts and clients with tailored made recommendations aligned with their concepts and customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry influencers.
- Identify local and global trends and translate them into relevant portfolio and market actions.
- Actively represent the division’s spirit portfolio in the market.
- Develop and adapt the portfolio in line with market needs and company strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, report monthly performance and act as a professional liaison.
- Educate trade partners on the company’s portfolio through tastings, presentations, and training sessions.
- Train and guide internal teams to enhance wine knowledge and selling skills.
- Organize and conduct tastings, in-store activities, and special events.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Events teams on promotional materials and related campaigns.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Approximately 2+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably within FMCG or alcoholic beverages.
- Established network and strong relationship-building capabilities within the spirits industry and key market channels – an advantage.
- Good understanding of brand marketing, consumer marketing, and trade marketing principles.
- Ability to analyze market trends and performance data and translate insights into effective commercial and marketing actions.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including sales teams, marketing, and suppliers.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- High level of independence, initiative, and ownership while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong execution capabilities.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Greek.
