Job Description

Skyserv (Cyprus) Ltd, a leading provider of ground handling and aviation services, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Station Manager to lead our operations at Larnaca Airport. This critical leadership role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and commercially successful operation of our station, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, operational performance, compliance, and staff engagement.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee all station operations to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective service delivery.
• Manage daily ground handling activities in compliance with company policies, aviation regulations, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure full regulatory compliance (CAA, EASA, IATA, airport authorities) across all operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze operational data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with airline customers, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Respond promptly and effectively to irregular operations, incidents, and emergencies.
• Coordinate with headquarters to implement strategic decisions and operational changes.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team of operational and administrative staff.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous development.
• Conduct performance evaluations, training needs assessments, and staff development plans.
• Ensure effective resource planning, shift scheduling, and team deployment.
• Promote high standards of employee welfare, engagement, and professional conduct.

 Commercial Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue local business development opportunities in line with company strategy.
• Monitor contract performance and manage client relationships to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Support tendering, pricing, and service proposal activities at the local level.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure revenue targets and profitability goals are achieved.

Qualifications

• University degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aviation management, with at least 5 years in a senior operational or station management role.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of ground handling operations and aviation regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proven commercial acumen and client management experience.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage complex operational challenges.
• Flexible working hours to accommodate operational needs.
• Fluent in English and Greek language both written and spoken is essential.
