Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean are now hiring for the position of Storekeeper at Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach Hotel & Spa in Paphos.
Duties & Responsibilities
Storing the stuff in the appropriated rooms, respecting the Company procedures regarding Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, and resolve any discrepancies in orders received versus orders placed.
Ensure that all storerooms are equipped with necessary emergency supplies, and that these are easily accessible in case of any emergencies.
Maintain detailed records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, disbursements, and stock levels, and prepare regular reports for management review.
Giving a constant feed back about the quantities of the items in order to avoid any lack of stocked materials.
Giving a constant feed back on the storage situations in order to avoid any spoilage or breakage of the items.
Giving the items requested by the various Departments and approved by the Inventory Officer in the Customer Orders.
Implementing the Health and Sanitation procedures, the safety Management System and the Environmental Policy in all the Hotel Storerooms.
Giving a constant feed back on the consumptions of the Department and on the quantities of the items kept in the stores.
Requirements
Good English or Greek knowledge
Computer literate and good knowledge of the common software programs is a must
Work experience of at least two years in similar position is a must
Strong attention t detail is essential for managing inventory levels and ensuring that all items are properly stored and accounted for.
A storekeeper is a person who is responsible for managing goods in the warehouse at all stages, from the time of moving goods into the warehouse, preserving and storing them until the time of moving goods out of the warehouse, and ensuring requirements of quality and quantity of goods well. The storekeeper is also the person who checks inventory and reports the inventory quantity periodically.
