Job Description

On behalf of our client, one of the largest construction companies in Cyprus, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Surveyor.

 

Τhe Company is licensed as an A – Class Contractor, allowing to handle projects of any size and complexity. Due to its size and structure, the Company can operate with flexibly to match the needs of its clients. It has been in the market for over 60 years and has built a reputation for quality, efficiency and reliability.

 

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join the team of the Company and take an active role in the design, coordination and technical support of the architectural projects. The role requires a strong technical background, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and a practical understanding of the transition from design to construction

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare measurements, cost estimates, valuations and commercial reviews for new and ongoing projects.

Assess, price and manage variations including supporting documentation and follow-up.

Review subcontractor and supplier quotations, compare commercial terms and assist with procurement recommendations.

Monitor project costs against budgets and identify risks, savings opportunities and commercial discrepancies.

Prepare interim valuations, payment recommendations, final accounts and cost reports for management review.

Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors to obtain technical and commercial information.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles, cost control and commercial administration in construction projects.

Comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities, with attention to detail and a practical problem-solving mindset.

Able to communicate clearly with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients where required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or a related field.

2+ years of relevant experience in construction, contracting or project cost management.

Good knowledge of BOQs, measurements, variations and subcontract administration.

Strong Excel and reporting skills; familiarity with project budgeting and valuation processes is an advantage.
