About the Role:
We are looking for a Systems administrator to join our team and play a key role in the design, implementation, and support of robust IT systems and infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, consultants, and support teams, to deploy and support solutions that underpin our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM ecosystem.
As part of a dynamic and growing team, you will contribute to infrastructure planning, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting business-critical systems used across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively as part of the IT team, contributing to shared objectives, supporting colleagues, and participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of all technology systems and services.
• Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, networking, and virtualisation platforms.
• Implement, monitor, and improve cybersecurity controls, including vulnerability management, patch management, endpoint protection, and security incident response.
• Ensure business continuity through the management of backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and regular recovery testing in line with ISO 27001 requirements.
• Manage endpoint deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Maintain and support core infrastructure services including networking, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, VoIP systems, authentication services, and identity management platforms.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, software suppliers, and service providers, including procurement, licensing, renewals, and contract management.
• Participate in internal and client-facing projects, providing technical expertise, implementation support, and troubleshooting assistance.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, regulatory requirements, and audit obligations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance business productivity, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues while promoting best practices across the organisation.
Requirements:
Academic Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Professional Requirements/Technical Skills
- Experience administering and supporting Dynamics 365 environments and related Microsoft business applications will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working within ISO 27001 or similar information security frameworks will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Linux administration and support will be considered an advantage.
