The selected applicant will be responsible for supporting tax compliance and advisory work under the close supervision of senior staff. They will collaborate with the taxation and financial departments to meet client needs in areas such as direct and indirect taxation, tax planning, and communication with tax authorities. The successful candidates will prepare tax computations and returns, engage in tax-related research, and assist in advisory projects. A Tax Consultant will be expected to manage multiple engagements effectively through proper planning and time management, ensuring work is completed within deadlines and budget. They will also maintain communication with clients and authorities, perform other job-related duties as assigned, and uphold high professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
Qualifications / Skills
BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field
Greek and English languages knowledge
IT literate
Familiarity with Cyprus Tax Legislation (knowledge of Cyprus/EU VAT Legislation will be considered an advantage)
0 to 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role
