Secondary Post: Spanish Teacher

Teacher of Spanish (Modern Foreign Languages) – IGCSE & A Level

Foley’s School is a prestigious private international school in Limassol, known for academic excellence, strong discipline, and a rich extracurricular programme.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join our Secondary School team. The successful candidate will inspire pupils at IGCSE and A Level, delivering high-quality teaching in a supportive and engaging environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish at IGCSE and A Level
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in an inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor pupil progress and wellbeing, liaising with colleagues
• Contribute to school life, including meetings, parent evenings, trips and extracurricular activities
• Support curriculum development and take ownership of a subject area or initiative
• Uphold school values, behaviour policies, and high standards of health and safety

 

Requirements

• Degree in Spanish or related field; PGCE and/or QTS
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching Spanish at IGCSE and A Level
• Commitment to high academic standards and student-centred learning
• Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills
• Full fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school life
• Alignment with the School’s mission and values

 

Desirable

• International school experience
• Ability to teach an additional modern foreign language
