Job Description
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, the exclusive importer of top motorcycle and ATV brands, with expanding operations in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Manager to join their growing team. The successful applicant will manage the daily warehouse operation, ensuring that all activities are completed efficiently and according to company procedures. You must be comfortable managing people, setting priorities, following up on performance, solving daily operational issues, and working alongside the team when required. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or another relevant field, who possess proven experience in warehouse management, stock control, logistics, or a similar operational role. Experience using ERP/WMS systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse documentation is essential, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer including a 13th salary.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily warehouse operation, ensuring that all activities are completed efficiently and according to company procedures.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate a sizeable warehouse team.
- Allocate daily tasks, set priorities, monitor attendance, productivity, accuracy, discipline, and teamwork.
- Provide guidance, resolve daily operational issues, and support the team during peak periods when required.
- Collect and prepare customer orders together with the warehouse team, including locating the required products, checking item accuracy and condition, packing the goods properly, preparing the necessary dispatch documentation, and ensuring orders are shipped correctly and on time.
- Manage product returns, condition assessments, and related procedures, ensuring that returns are handled correctly and properly documented.
- Manage goods receiving, document checks, labelling, product placement, and stock movements.
- Ensure products are correctly identified, recorded, and placed in the correct warehouse locations.
- Organise and conduct regular stock counts, investigate stock differences, and ensure that inventory records remain reliable.
- Coordinate stock movements between company stores and locations, ensuring all transfers are properly documented and recorded in the system.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
- Ensure that warehouse procedures, safety standards, equipment use, and housekeeping expectations are followed by the team.
- Use ERP/WMS systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse documentation for receiving stock movements, stock checks, order preparation, and reporting.
- Monitor the responsible use of company vehicles, ensuring they are kept clean, used correctly, and serviced according to schedule.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, would be preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, stock control, logistics, or a similar operational role.
- Previous experience supervising or managing a warehouse team.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and hold people accountable.
- Ability to allocate tasks, follow up on performance, and maintain discipline within the team.
- Hands-on experience in picking, packing, dispatching, receiving, stock movement, and stock counts.
- Experience using ERP/WMS systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve daily operational problems.
- Fluency in Greek and English is essential.
- Reliable, accountable, practical, and willing to work hands-on when required.
- Professional attitude, team spirit, and strong communication skills.
