Iacovou Group, one of the most reputable and established Construction Groups in Cyprus and Abroad, seeks to recruit a professional for the position of Accounts Assistance.&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Processes invoices, receipts, payments and manages various day to day accounting related tasks</li><li>Prepares and records journal entries, account reconciliations and detailed reports (bookkeeping)</li><li>Conducts daily, weekly and monthly performance of bank and other reconciliations</li><li>Computes VAT and tax owed and prepares VAT return forms, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements</li><li>Conducts month end, quarterly and annual closing of accounts, audits and special projects</li><li>Reviews and processes expense accounts for accuracy and reasonableness according to the Group’s procedures</li><li>Follows and maintains accounting principles in compliance with reporting standards, external auditors and company policy</li><li>Communicates effectively with companies he/she supports, so as to ensure proper accounting for job costing, revenue and expense activities</li></ul>&nbsp;Specific Requirements:<ul><li>Higher diploma in accounting – LCCI/or experience in bookkeeping if no diploma</li><li>People management skills</li><li>Planning and organisation skills</li><li>Communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Problem solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Computer literacy</li><li>Analytical and numerical skills</li><li>Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both verbal and written</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Remuneration:A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
