Dromon Bureau of Shipping&nbsp;(<a href="http://www.dromon.com/">www.dromon.com</a>), an International Classification Society and an EU and UK accredited Verification body, is seeking the employment of an Environmental Officer to support its verification activities for EU MRV/ ETS, FuelEU, UK ETS, IMO DCS/CII, ISO14064-1 &amp; 2 and CSI schemes.&nbsp;Major DutiesThe Environmental Officer shall have the following responsibilities:-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support the verification team with organizing and executing verification operations, client liaison and correspondence, service agreement preparation, and reporting&nbsp;Minimum Qualifications:-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; University Degree in Shipping / Mechanical / Chemical / Environmental Engineering.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To be competent in English language commensurate with future work.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Decision making, pragmatic approach.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Organizational skills.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to adhere to deadlines.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Computer literate.&nbsp;Nice to have:-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Training or working experience with any of the following GHG Emissions Schemes: IMO DCS, CII, SEEMP, EU MRV, EU ETS, UK ETS, FUEL EU, Clean Shipping Index, ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-2.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Training or working experience with any ISO family standard (e.g. ISO 19001)&nbsp;Conditions of Employment-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Salary and benefits package will be offered, commensurate with the successful candidate knowledge and experience.&nbsp;About the Company:DromonClass has been established in 2003 as an independent International Classification Society for sea going vessels and other marine structures dedicated to provide classification and statutory certification services with the constant objective of protecting the environment and life at sea.&nbsp;&nbsp;For further information please visit&nbsp;<a href="http://www.dromon.com/">www.dromon.com</a>&nbsp;
