CREW OFFICER&nbsp;JOB DESCRIPTION:Safe Bulkers Management, a Shipping Management company based in Limassol, is recruiting for a well organised professional with exceptional collaborative skills, hard-working and self-motivation to develop professionally in the Crew Department of the Maritime Shipping sector.&nbsp;REQUIREMENTS:The position requirements include:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An academic degree from a Nautical Academy or a University Degree in a field related to Maritime Studies.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent communication skills and knowledgeable English·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Very good computer skills (knowledge in DANAOS Crew Module will be considered an asset)&nbsp;MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:The position responsibilities include the following:·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supports the proper IMS implementation regarding the ships’ manning and seagoing personnel training.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supports/Administers the seagoing personnel recruitment.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Reviews the seafarers' qualifications, certification, etc.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintains personal, medical, and training records and certification details of all seafarers, including appraisals.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Keeps all seafarers' files up-to-date.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintains/monitors documents and certificates of embarking crew and makes sure that their qualifications comply with the Company criteria and the IMS procedures.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supports with the crew travel arrangements and visa requirements with the Manning Agents and travel Agents.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Makes flight arrangements for Office personnel when attending ships and arranges their travel and visas at optimal cost.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Arranges timely dispatch of all correspondence to/from ships/Agents related to their Department.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supports department’s projects.&nbsp;Please send your resume at&nbsp;<a href="mailto:sbm.cyp@gmail.com">sbm.cyp@gmail.com</a>&nbsp;**SALARY UNDER DISCUSSION**&nbsp;(By applying to our company, you consent to process your personal data according to our GDPR policy for the recruitment period after which they will be erased)
