Louis Hotels, a chain of 25 hotels & resorts with over 80 years of experience in the hospitality industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team in Ivi Mare as the Gardener and contribute towards our commitment to excellence in hospitality.
Main Responsibilities:
Plant and nurture trees, flowers, shrubs, and lawns.
Maintain the health and appearance of the hotel's gardens through regular watering, fertilizing, weeding, and pruning.
Operate gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Identify and treat plant diseases and pest infestations.
Perform seasonal tasks such as planting seasonal flowers, leaf removal, and preparing gardens for winter.
Interact professionally and courteously with guests, providing information about our plants and gardens as needed.
Ensure all gardening activities comply with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping; experience in a hotel or resort is a plus.
Knowledge of plant care.
Ability to operate gardening tools and machinery.
Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor.
Basic knowledge of pest and disease control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
EU Nationality or eligibility to work within.
