Accommodation Assistant
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage all the applicable licenses for 3rd country employees and coordinate with all agencies and local authorities from the day of the interview till the expiration date of the license.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of housing facilities including employee check-ins/ check-outs, maintenance requests and cleanliness.
- Coordinate housing assignments, ensuring fair distribution and efficient utilization of available spaces.
- Maintain accurate records of housing occupancy and related documentation.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure that accommodation is in good condition and meet all safety and hygiene standards.
- Arrange timely repairs and maintenance services as needed addressing issues like plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general upkeep.
- Act as a primary point of contact for housing residents by addressing their concerns, queries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Foster a positive and supportive living environment, promoting a sense of community and cooperation among residents.
- Ensure all housing facilities comply with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Provide guidelines for staff members on safety protocols and emergency procedures and ensure that are followed at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
- Maintain clear communication channels with both accommodation staff members and management, reporting any significant issues or trends.
- Keep accurate records of complaints, maintenance requests and resolution actions.
Qualifications
- Previous background in facility management, hospitality back-office, or property administration will be considered an advantage.
- Competence with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High level of tact, strict confidentiality regarding staff details and cross-cultural communication abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Fluency in Greek and English is a must.
