Job Description

The company CORALCLIFF LIMITED (operating the Adelais Bay Hotel), with employer identification No. 3058257/3/5510, is seeking to recruit two (2) Housemen to support the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and the smooth operation of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate should be proactive, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, and public/common areas according to company standards.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and waste from guest rooms, public areas, and operational spaces.
• Collect, transport, and assist with the washing and handling of soiled linen and laundry.
• Support housekeeping operations by moving furniture, equipment, and supplies between rooms and departments as required.
• Assist with room preparation and maintenance tasks, including replacing burned-out light bulbs and reporting maintenance issues.
• Organize, clean, and maintain storage rooms and housekeeping areas in a tidy and orderly condition.
• Perform basic painting and touch-up work when required.
• Assist with gardening and outdoor maintenance duties, including weeding, garden cleaning, and general upkeep of landscaped areas.
• Support floor and housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards.
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety procedures and regulations.
• Ensure cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies are used and stored properly.
• Cooperate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other department supervisors to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests whenever required.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, maintenance, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Basic knowledge of painting and minor maintenance tasks.
• Basic gardening skills, including weeding, garden cleaning, and general outdoor maintenance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift/move equipment safely.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Friendly, courteous, and guest-oriented personality.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with department heads and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
