Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and submit tax filings and compliance reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Lead the reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare detailed reports for management and external stakeholders

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in higher education or a similar setting
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and team collaboration
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
