Assistant Restaurant Manager

Melpo Antia Hotel seeks to recruit an Assistant Restaurant Manager for the company's a la Carte Restaurants.

Main Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing the restaurant.
• Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
• Scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff.
• Resolving customers' questions and grievances professionally.
• Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
• Sourcing better deals on all resources and equipment that warrant replacing or replenishing.
• Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in a similar position.
• Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek, and English. Russian or German languages are considered an advantage.
• Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Professional presentation.
• Pleasant personality and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
