Yield Officer (Travel & Accommodation)
Job Description
Mavromatis Employment is seeking to recruit on behalf of his client the ideal candidate for the job position of Yield Officer in Larnaca.
Role Overview
As a Yield Officer, you will sit at the core of our commercial strategy. You will analyze real-time travel trends, monitor competitor pace, and dynamically adjust rates and availability across B2B partners, OTAs, and direct channels. Your ultimate goal will be to maximize RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) and yield across peak summer seasons, shoulder months, and off-peak periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Dynamic Pricing Strategy: Develop, recommend, and implement daily rate strategies based on demand patterns, seasonality, local events, and booking pace.
- Inventory Allocation: Manage accommodation inventory across third-party channels (Expedia, Booking.com, Tour Operators) and direct platforms to ensure optimal channel mix.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Continuously benchmark rates against key regional competitors, source markets, and distribution networks.
- Restrictions & Stop-Sales: Execute minimum-stay rules, release periods, and stop-sale controls to protect yield during high-demand dates.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Produce weekly and monthly performance reports comparing actual pick-up against budgets, highlighting areas for revenue growth.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Contracting, Sales, and Reservations teams to evaluate group requests and launch tactical promotional offers.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Tourism, or Logistics.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years in revenue management, yield analysis, or hotel/travel reservations.
- Hands-on experience with Reservation Systems (PMS), Channel Managers, or Revenue Management Systems (RMS).
- Good understanding of Mediterranean tourism distribution channels (B2B tour operators vs. B2C/OTAs).
Skills & Competencies
- Languages: Professional fluency in English (required). Knowledge of Greek or another European language is considered a strong advantage.
- Analytical Mindset: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data aggregation, pivot tables, forecasting).
- Legal Eligibility: Must hold valid working rights to work in Cyprus/EU.
