Job Description

CSP JV (Cyprus Services Provider Joint Venture) an established Joint Venture working within the British Sovereign Base areas since 2006, has a requirement for B&CE Engineers at Dhekelia & Akrotiri.

Building & Civil Engineering (B&CE) Engineers

General Role

The B&CE Engineers will be responsible for the safe, reliable and cost-effective delivery of all asset building and civil engineering operations and maintenance works on their site, including outstations.

Profile

The posts are for both junior engineers (recent graduates with little or no experience) and more experienced engineers (minimum five years experience in either contracting or maintenance operations and a self-motivated team player with proven track record in the delivery of multi discipline projects and operations):

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Produce concise information and documentation with attention to detail and presentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with a Quality Assurance system.
• IT literate on all MS Office programs including Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD would also be advantageous.
• Good command of the English language.
• Carry out structural designs for minor works for concrete and steel structures.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or Building Engineering (or equivalent).
