Job Description

MAP Hotel is looking for a talented, creative, and dynamic individual to join our team as an Events Assistant, supporting the Events Manager in the planning and delivery of high-level events.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact for our clients, helping to create a seamless hospitality experience from the initial planning stage through to the successful completion of each event.

We are looking for someone with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, creative thinking, and the ability to combine outstanding customer service with practical technical knowledge.

The role includes:

• Supporting the Events Manager in the planning, preparation, and coordination of corporate events, meetings, and special experiences.
• Creating and preparing proposals, presentations, and tailored client packages.
• Managing communication with clients, partners, and suppliers professionally and consistently.
• Attending events to ensure their smooth delivery and an exceptional guest experience.
• Supporting the technical requirements of presentations, meetings, and corporate events.
• Managing the basic operation of the video wall, connecting laptops, and assisting with presentations.
• Setting up and supporting online meetings through platforms such as Zoom, ensuring the correct connection of video, audio, and presentations.

The profile we are looking for:

• Creative and organised thinking, with excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence in communicating and engaging directly with discerning clients.
• A dynamic personality, professional presence, and positive attitude.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and find solutions quickly.
• Basic technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment and presentation tools.
• Good knowledge of tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent command of Greek and English.

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Previous experience in a hotel environment, events, luxury hospitality, or customer experience.
• Familiarity with corporate events and conferences.
