CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible of handling mid-sized and large audit engagements, working closely with the assigned Audit Manager. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, and holders of, or those working towards any professional accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess 2+ years of experience in the audit field, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Standard working hours are from 08:00 - 16:30 from Monday to Thursday and from 08:00 - 14:30 each Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Working/participating on medium-large size engagements
Working directly with the client under audit manager supervision.
Involved in the planning, execution, and completion of all areas of the audit assignment.
Identifying key audit risk matters and exercising significant professional judgement where this is required.
Various ad-hoc tasks on client accounting cycles and systems of internal control.
Preparation of tax computations and income tax declarations.
Supervise, coach, and develop junior members of staff within teams, on client premises and in the office.
Preparation of various reports to Management.
Key Skills/Experience:
College or University Degree in Accounting & Finance or similar.
Willing to consider ongoing or newly qualified candidates (ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
Minimum 2-4 years of audit experience.
Knowledge of Caseware will be considered an advantage.
Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
Attention to detail and results oriented.
A team player.
Fluent in written and spoken Greek and English.
