Facilities & Site Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)

The Facilities Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing campus facilities, building operations, maintenance, and technical infrastructure, leveraging mechanical or electrical engineering expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
What will your job look like?
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance and other facilities operations across the relevant Amdocs offices, with a strong focus on building systems and technical infrastructure.
- Act as a primary point of contact for facilities and technical matters, supporting a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment in full collaboration with other team members.
- Coordinate facility, engineering, and logistics needs in line with company policies and organizational standards.
- Provide technical oversight and support for building systems, including electrical, HVAC/air conditioning, mechanical, and other critical building infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records related to maintenance activities, services, inspections, repairs, and technical systems.
- Coordinate and execute site events while driving continuous improvements across areas of responsibility, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Serve as an EHS support, including responsibility for business continuity planning and support (BCP), security systems, and implementation of EHS and ISO standards aligned with global guidelines.
- Be involved in the implementation and execution of all EHS, safety, and security requirements across the relevant offices.
- Deliver end-to-end technical and facilities projects, including building works, renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and space allocation.
- Perform proactive inspections of facilities, building systems, and ongoing services, identifying potential issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Manage vendors within scope, ensuring technical requirements are met and invoice reviews align with allocated budgets while promoting efficiency and cost awareness.
- Follow company procedures, engineering standards, safety requirements, and organizational guidelines.
Please note: This role requires full onsite presence, with attendance in the office Monday through Friday.
All you need is...
- Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and/or electrical building systems and infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in English and Greek.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in facilities management, engineering, building operations, or a related field.
- Experience working in a matrix environment, preferably on large sites within a global organization.
- Experience managing projects from planning through execution.
- Solid technical knowledge of building systems, such as electrical systems, HVAC/air conditioning, mechanical systems, and related building infrastructure.
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities, contractors, and technical service providers.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
