Accountant

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time

INDUSTRY: Audit, Accounting, and Tax Consulting

 

Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of its client, a dynamic accounting and consulting firm, is seeking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its professional team in Nicosia.

 

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager of the Audit & Tax Department and will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for an early-career-stage professional to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic and supportive environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Recording accounting transactions in a complete, accurate, and timely manner
• Communicating and liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Preparing supplier, bank, and other reconciliations
• Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT and tax returns
• Processing client payroll
• Preparing reports and providing support to management as required

 

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ACCA part-qualified (early stage of qualification) are encouraged to apply
• A minimum of a year of relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational and analytical abilities
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with the Esoft accounting program will be considered an advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Greek languages                
   

Remuneration & Benefits

• Annual Gross Salary ranging from €21,000 - €27,000 (paid in 13 instalments)
