Collect & Exchange Cy Ltd is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, accounting controls, and day-to-day finance operations across its Cyprus business. The role requires someone who can work closely with management and the finance team in a fast-moving, regulated fintech environment.
Key responsibilities
Oversee month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reports.
Review reconciliations, including bank, payment provider, client transaction, and intercompany balances.
Strengthen financial controls and improve accounting and reporting processes.
Monitor costs, investigate variances, and provide clear financial insights to management.
Coordinate with auditors, tax advisers, banks, and other external partners.
Support statutory reporting, tax filings, and other finance-related obligations.
Work with Operations, Treasury, Compliance, and management to resolve financial discrepancies and support business decisions.
Supervise and support members of the finance team.
Requirements
Proven experience in financial control, accounting, or a similar senior finance role.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and internal controls.
Experience managing audits and working with external advisers.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
Professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent, is preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Experience in fintech, payments, regulated financial services, or cryptocurrency is an advantage.
