Trust International Insurance Company (Cyprus) Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Information Security Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on specialized projects within the insurance sector, collaborating closely with stakeholders across IT, risk, legal, and business functions.

About the Role

As an Information Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our information assets by designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across networks, applications, databases, and endpoints. You will ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR, DORA, AI, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS, while continuously enhancing our security posture to meet emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Architecture & Implementation: Develop and enforce robust security policies and systems aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Vulnerability Management & Risk Assessment: Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests, collaborating with teams to remediate risks promptly.
• Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor SIEM alerts, lead incident investigations, and document security events.
• Compliance & Governance: Support audits and ensure ongoing adherence to insurance industry regulations.
• Security Awareness & Training: Design and deliver training programs that promote a strong security culture.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work cross-functionally to integrate security into operations and recommend enhancements based on emerging trends.

What We’re Looking For

• MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or related fields
• Solid knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS protocols
• Strong understanding of web and software security architecture principles
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in both Greek and English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
